The crankshaft is designed with moderate inertia for improved handling and performance, and a better balance ratio for reduced vibration. You will notice its high quality, as its runout is within 0.01 mm, and it can be rebuilt many times without losing strength or stiffness.
Important Note:
Do not use the 105SX piston from the 105 Factory Kit; instead, use the Vertex 112SX piston 23879A from the aftermarket.
You must modify the piston skirt on the exhaust side to prevent the piston skirt from coming into contact with the crankshaft; see the image for the modification.
